Sand Creek Massacre Descendants Trust Annual Dance December 5, 2009 at Anadarko, Ok. Grand Entry at 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The White Antelope blanket that Chief White Antelope was wearing during the Sand Creek Massacre in Colorado Territory on November 29, 1864, will be on display again this year. An invitation to the Secretary of the Interior has been extended to attend the gathering. Many Tribes from all over the United States will be attending.
